I am getting ready to go on a fishing trip with my father this weekend for Fathers Day. As a common rule, I don't like standing in a river trying to lure in some defenseless animals, but it is Fathers Day, and my dad loves fishing.
I had to make sure to update my fishing gear a little bit for the trip since I haven't used most of my fishing tackle for a long time.
I ran some new Power Pro fishing line into my fishing reel so that I wouldn't have an old line that would just break as soon as a fish bit down on the hook.
Now that my fishing pole is ready for the trip, I am going to have to get out my waders and make sure to buy some fresh bait on the day of the journey. I hope that my dad appreciates me spending time with him out on the river.
Taking a Quantum Fishing Reel Out on the Lake
Even although it is supposed to be rainy all weekend, I am planning to go out on the lake next to my apartment and fish for some trout. In my experience, I have found that rain doesn't make much of a difference for the fish. I can avoid being sunburned when I go out on the lake on a cloudy day.
